For the SS22 season, the Copenhagen Fashion Week
designers tackled the key challenges facing the fashion industry in a calm,
understated yet practical way. Sustainability was on the agenda as the
collections were inspired by climate change and designers tried to minimize
their carbon footprint through small collections that use recycled and natural
materials. Durability has also been a topic of discussion focused on maximum
portability and practicality of parts that can last a lifetime. technologyies
Author: Malen Birger
Blending signature minimalism with subtle bohemian
motifs, Malene Birger SS22 features flowing, languid silhouettes in soft tones
with natural texture. Based on references to last season's comfort-focused
collection, touch was key. The roughness blends smoothly and elegantly, while
the sculpted leather is covered in raffia and linen in a soft palette of beige,
cream and rusty colors. techiescity
Rodebière
The fashion for real life outside of prison is the
basis of the Karin Rodebière collection. Soft watercolor prints, super-soft
patterns and textures blended with military and leather elements give it a
sophisticated, utilitarian practicality. Sustainability has also been achieved
through recycled leather for motorcycle clothing and reusing materials and
designs from previous collections. themarketingpilot
Rains
The outerwear brand has reinvented the SS22 show
with an audiovisual concept filmed on the streets of Copenhagen. "Come
Rain, Come Shine" explores the unpredictability of the weather, which is
very relevant these days, and that the rebellious behavior of the weather is
also a metaphor for life in general. The clothes were lightweight, able to move
between different weather conditions, and were accompanied by bags and
accessories made from characteristic waterproof materials. technologywebdesign
